Where the sun doesn't shine, but a trickle of moonlight can pass into it, the cavern is a sacred place to the tribe cats. It is the only place the Healers can successfully contact their ancestors every moon to get status reports and to relay messages to the Oldest Elder who helps the tribe and the Healer understand the message. The Cavern has a mossy floor, roof and walls and only a tiny pool of liquid las at the far end. The Healers drink this and they rest until dreams come and then they return to their tribes at the Gathering. Should the message be known for all the cats, then they will speak it; otherwise they return home after this.
