>> the basics: Mountain, well he's the leader of the Running Deer tribe, and a tom. He was named for his dark grey coat, along that he was born just after his father Salmon that runs (through water) returned from hunting. Mountain is straight, though an be "iffy".

>> Appearance: Mountain is a sleek and short haired tom. His body is long and skinny, making him look nimble and quick. Mountain doesn't look to strong based on how skinny he is, though is words can be menacing. Mountain has soft yellow eyes, they are hazy and dim. Not a bright yellow that he had as a kit.

* Mountain is a very simple, uncomplicated cat and he likes to keep it that way. Mountain is a man of few words, though the words he speaks are bold. The tom likes basic life, and when he was a cave guarded and witnessed the Skyclan warriors coming in he frowned. Mountain dislikes knew things, he prefers old things. "Things" that have been around for years and will never ever change. The tom sometimes only speaks for himself and only lets him and his followers rule, he can't look into others shoes.

* Mountain is bold and brave. He does something when he wants it, ignoring others opinion. He is the first to go and attack Skyclan, the first to battle Falling Water for the beach and the last to say "I surrender" He is a fighter and he will get what he wants. Mountain believes his way is right, and has little patience for others, which is why he is so head first into everything.
>>Soft/caring
* If his best friend is injured in battle, Mountain will lay beside him in till he gets better. If a kit gets a thorn in their paw Mountain will be the first to heal it. He is a very caring for those he knows, if your just an aquatint then too bad.. he hates you. Some find this so annoying he is so closed to himself, no letting anyone in his word, though Mountains a good guy..just some quirks.

>> History:
Mountains parents, Salmon and Flower were the usual preyhunter and cave guarder. They talked to each other often, and became good friends over time. Soon they seemed to become more then friends and Flower was then expecting kits. Though Flower didn't seem to love Salmon the way she did, nothing seemed right in her mind. So two kits were born, rock and Mountian (yes very interesting names) Rock died of greencough within the first moon. Salmon now grew more attached with his only son, though flower wanted nothing to do with him.
Mountain grew to be a fine young tom, stuck with his father and rarely spoke to his mother, as she seemed to stuck up. So the young tom grew to be a prey hunter, since he was so fast and sharp. The grey tom didn't talk much, he lacked social skills. But one day the leader decided he needed an apprentice and Mountain who was training hard to be a prey hunted was chosen.. His father was proud of him and Mountain felt proud too.
His mother stayed out of the picture, she probably died along the way.. who knows. But Mountain became a well known apprentice and filled in as healer many times when the leader fell injured or sick. One battle between Tribe of Running water the healer was injured and he died soon after. Mountain took the lead and lead his clan ahead, but he never knew the dangers ahead....
